Description: I would like to download a species list from a given country (e.g. Denmark), and a possibility of  sorting the species in the list alphabetically would be very useful.

Comment: Burke had implemented sth for the NPT, but it is currently broken I think and we discussed that this should rather become a proper GBIF API service, similar to downloads. See PF-1369. Maybe close this one in favor over PF-1369?

Markus is right. The checklist generation for NPT Startup project is dependent on the old portal DB. Although I had fixed them for early adopters Nodes before I left, it's better to implement it as part of our GBIF API service.
I can still generate the checklist in the Scratchpads checklist template format if it's needed.
