Description: Hi, is it possible, or could it be implemented, that html-code for e.g. URLs may be used in metadata description, so that links become "click'able/active?

Comment: @Devs: A single <ulink> can be embedded in any paragraph in the next version of our EML schema (v1.1) (we might consider allowing multiple). Our parsers can convert this into an HTML anchor for display in the portal, which is how the IPT is parsing the license URL and license title from the intellectualRights block.

Comment: We should support both options however

Comment: I would have hoped we create anchors for any plain http(s) URL we spot. See http://dev.gbif.org/issues/browse/POR-2033

We should use one of the many linkify JS libraries for this e.g. http://soapbox.github.io/jQuery-linkify/
