Description: When we index occurrences attached to a species checklist we run the backbone matching essentially in 2 places. One for the species and one for the occurrences. As the classification in a checklists is often formed by using a parent child relationship (nameUsageParentID) the full classification is hidden to the occurrence indexing which works on individual records only.

An improved version of the occurrence indexing would wait for the checklist to be fully indexed and matched to the backbone and simply reuse the nubKey for each of the core taxon records in the dwc archive]]>
