Description: As we index CoL record by record in real time this takes a long time ( a day) and continously increases the species count of GBIF. At the very end old species not existing anymore in the latest dwca are removed, but meanwhile the front page of GBIF shows kinda bad species counts cause they are based on solr.

Suggest to use the fixed dataset metrics countByRank.SPECIES:
http://api.gbif.org/v1/dataset/7ddf754f-d193-4cc9-b351-99906754a03b/metrics

instead as we do on the species search homepage:
http://www.gbif.org/species]]>
