Summary: taxonomy status of Calanthe fragilis

"Calanthe fragilis is NOT Synonym of Calanthe micrantha.
When I had re-written the 4th draft of “Taxon and Distributions, by 5 Islands & 2 Regions, of Indonesian Orchids” in March, 2012,
there were 3/36 occurrence records of Calanthe fragilis, which were once collected in Indonesia.
The Collector is Mr. Rafael Govaerts [Original Complier of World Checklist of Selected Plant Families -Royal Botanic Gardens (kew)].
About 3 years ago, he told me that he has not believed GBIF occurrence records.
Please reset your GBIF Databse by uploading the correct occurrence records of Calanthe fragilis as soon as possible.

[~bko@gbif.org] I am not sure if I fully understand the issue. Our backbone has Calanthe fragilis Govaerts as a synonym, is this considered wrong? http://www.gbif.org/species/2795392
Or is the problem that we do not have occurrence records with that name anymore? Both cases do not seem erroneous to me in the sense that the GBIF backbone is old and the synonym was found then in the catalog of life (now it is accepted: http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/19158284)

Yes, I believe by writing "Calanthe fragilis is NOT Synonym of Calanthe micrantha.", Dr. Hayashi suggests it's wrong.
But as you said it's accepted name in the current catalogue of life checklist then I think what we should do is to just update and then see how occurrence records are indexed. We can ask Dr. Hayashi to verify afterwards.
