Summary: 2 tree names in Catalogue of Life are treated as one in the nub
Description: The Catalogue of Life has two records for Picea excelsa,  Picea excelsa (Lam.) Link  and Picea excels Wender.  Both are synonyms for two different taxa.   Because they are canonically identical,  the nub-building process collapses these into a single nub record.
