Description: As discussed in [this issue|http://dev.gbif.org/issues/browse/PF-2367?focusedCommentId=21598], media shared via {{associatedMedia}} with a file extension that cannot be recognized, will get a {{mediaType:unknown}}. The same is probably true for media shared via the extension, with an unrecognized or empty type.

Occurrences with such media however, cannot be found via the Multimedia type filter in the occurrence search. One can only search for {{Image}}, {{Audio}} and {{Video}}. I would add the {{Unknown}} option, allowing users to discover more - but not immediately interpretable - media. It is also an indication to users and publishers that such media exist.]]>
