Description: Our backbone uses names like the following from the Catalog of Life for viruses: "Alphanodavirus: Boolarra virus ICTV http://www.gbif.org/species/7998911

We should strip off the Alphanodavirus as its part of the classification, not the name. We could also consider to just use the ICTV master list instead of CoL which is the up to date reference list: http://www.gbif.org/dataset/e01b0cbb-a10a-420c-b5f3-a3b20cc266ad]]>
