Description: the nub lookup service matching classified names to a usage in the nub is requested by some external partners and is worthwhile exposing.
In order to make it public it would need to also expose the verbatim strings of the resulting nub ids for any rank.

To reduce traffic it is suggested to keep the service as it is by default, but when adding a new parameter "mode=verbatim" then the strings would be added to the response.]]>

Comment: http://cache.gbif.org/ws-nub/nub?name=abies is a verison with verbatim names already. All that is left is the subdomain to be made truely public
