Description: Included in the model, this field is currently missing from the Specimen table. Please ensure the mybatis mapper (+test) are updated, and the field is shown in the UI.

In the UI, it would be shown under the link of the scientific name:
Syntype by original designation - where original designation is the type designation type

Type designation type showing as per requested styling.
This small fix had to be applied also in order for the type specimens to display as desired: http://code.google.com/p/gbif-portal/source/detail?r=377
