Currently list all nodes. It'll be very helpful if we can provide a facet or filter that only list country node, or even according to their membership type in GBIF.

In the Registry2 API, we have:
/node/country - Lists names of all GBIF member countries
/node/activeCountries - Lists of all GBIF member countries that are either voting or associate participants
Sounds like you want a filter by participant type, however. I believe [~mdoering@gbif.org] has been working on this added feature. Can you please comment [~mdoering@gbif.org], and tell me if I can close this issue as a duplicate? Thanks

Comment: if burke is fine close it, otherwise we could consider a optionally combined filter by participant and node type to replace the 2 "hardcoded" filters

I believe the goal is to allow our API to answer frequently asked questions like: "Who are the voting/associate countries or associate organisational participant of GBIF?" Currently /node/country and /node/activeCountries don't provide the answer.
I believe this feature will enable automated analysis of data repatriation according to membership types, or reduce the administrative effort of creating monthly membership overview slides.
Therefore please consider an optionally combined filter as [~mdoering@gbif.org] suggested.
