Summary: Production postgres needs proper config/tuning
Description: Apart from maybe # concurrent threads, jawa postgres is running a stock config that is almost certainly set way too low in terms of memory usage. It works right now so this shouldn't be tackled until early 2014 and maybe can wait until production postgres is moved to its new dedicated server (estimated Feb-March).
