Just to point out,

the datasets behind the BioCASE endpoint do exist in the Data Portal, and were successfully synched to the registry staging db. Please see as some example datasets 

Comment: Turns out the organization/key/technical_installation doesn't bring back the sub resources, for example whereas you can see from that they really do exist. It's a separate bug, so marking as won't fix
