Description: I suspect the root of this problem is in the migration, please let me explain the problem:

This organization in the live registry:
http://gbrds.gbif.org/browse/agent?uuid=37e82b90-1e21-11de-ab90-f72009d2669b

has 4 BioCASE services, each of which should become its own technical installation since they all have unique URLs (a result of this issue: REG-178).

On staging the fix for Issue REG-178 still hasn't been applied, but, and as we expect, there is only 1 technical installation created. However, the 1 technical installation that is created has no services, and thus has no endpoints.

Even without applying the fix for 178, I would have expected 4 endpoints show up. Instead there are none.

To verify:

the WS call that fails is: http://staging.gbif.org:8080/registry-ws/technical_installation/1eaa8b9e-6ea2-11e1-a453-a4093f22ed41/endpoint

On the other hand, some BioCASE technical installations' endpoints do show up nicely:

http://staging.gbif.org:8080/registry-ws/technical_installation/1eaa625e-6ea2-11e1-a453-a4093f22ed41/endpoint - PERHAPS, because there is only a single service, see http://gbrds.gbif.org/browse/agent?uuid=723e80e0-bd38-11dd-b15e-b8a03c50a862

Even this one with multiple endpoints:

http://staging.gbif.org:8080/registry-ws/technical_installation/1eaae7c4-6ea2-11e1-a453-a4093f22ed41

Comment: I would like to create a new database with the fix for 178, then see how this issue stands. I'll do this tomorrow.

I haven't yet created the new database. A pattern has emerged that where there is a missing endpoint, there is at least 1 DiGIR endpoint and 1 BioCASE endpoint. For our reference, I have created a list of those installations with missing endpoints:

1) 1eaa8b9e-6ea2-11e1-a453-a4093f22ed41 BioCASe Installation BeBIF Provider 37e82b90-1e21-11de-ab90-f72009d2669b (has 4 BioCASE and 1 DiGIR)
2) 1eadb4c2-6ea2-11e1-a453-a4093f22ed41 BioCASe Installation Natural History Museum 19456090-b49a-11d8-abeb-b8a03c50a862 (has 1 BioCASE and 1 DiGIR)
2) 1eafa3e0-6ea2-11e1-a453-a4093f22ed41 BioCASe Installation MNHN - Museum national d'Histoire naturelle 2cd829bb-b713-433d-99cf-64bef11e5b3e (has 4 BioCASE and 1 DiGIR)

Comment: Please note, BeBIF's BioCASE services have all been deleted now in the Live Registry.

Comment: I have finished REG-178 and deployed a new version to staging using a snapshot of LIVE from yesterday. Given all the examples here no live in the registry, is this still an issue please Kyle? If not please close it, if so, please provide new examples and I'll investigate. Thanks.

Comment: Looking at the Natural History Museum and MNHN - Museum national d'Histoire Naturelle as examples, the problems has disappeared. Closing issue.
